Ashcroft Titanium Promotion Terms

1. Promoter
This promotion is run by Ashcroft Titanium, owned by Walter Ashcroft, based at De Hoge Akker 2c, hereafter referred to as "the Promoter".

2. Nature of the promotion
This is a promotional activity in which the winner is selected based on the most compelling, sincere and original story submitted. The winner is chosen on the merit of their entry, not by chance. Entry is free and no purchase is required.

3. Promotion period
The promotion runs from 10-6 until the last day of the month at 11:59 pm (AEST). Entries received after this time will not be considered.

4. Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older. To enter, post a comment beneath the designated Facebook post by the Promoter sharing your personal story.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Where multiple entries are submitted, only the first will be considered. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible. Entries that are offensive, discriminatory, abusive or unlawful will be disqualified.

5. The prize
The winner receives one full hand-forged titanium cookset from the Ashcroft Titanium workshop on Gertrude Street, Fitzroy.
The prize is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable to third parties. Shipping to the winner's nominated address within Australia is covered by the Promoter. Any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the Promoter.

6. Winner selection and notification
At the end of the promotion month, the Promoter will select the winner based on the most compelling, original and sincere story. The winner will be announced in a reply beneath the original Facebook post and may also be contacted by private message.
The winner must respond within 14 days of notification with the requested details (name, address and email) in order to receive the prize. Failure to respond within this period will result in forfeiture of the prize, and a new winner may be selected.

7. Personal data

8. Liability
The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from entry into this promotion or from the awarding or use of the prize, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or end the promotion at any time without prior notice and without any obligation to compensate entrants.

9. No association with Meta/Facebook
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. or Facebook. Entrants release Meta from any and all liability arising from or in connection with this promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this promotion must be directed solely to the Promoter (Ashcroft Titanium).

10. Governing law
This promotion is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be referred to the competent court in the jurisdiction where the Promoter is based.
